NOSE BLEEDING Nasal bleeding in children can be alarming but mostly it is not as serious a condition as it looks, if it happens without any injury in summers. *tilt the child's head slightly forward so that the blood does not flow into the throat. *cotton cloth could be held under the nose to collect the blood. *soft portion of the nose can be squeezed shut and ask the patient to breath from the mouth. *ice pack can be put on the forehead and bridge of the nose to constrict and repair the blood vessels. Indian food and herbs *Gulukand *amla powder or amla in any form *drops of cow ghee in the nostril or apply the ghee to the lining of the nostrils *green vegetables *bel fruit (wood apple), mint - coriander infused water, mishri water(rock sugar), Life style *Swimming keeps the body cool and hydrated *Avoiding strenuous exercises is better as not to overheat the body *summer time avoid spicy and greasy food *red meat can also be taken sparingly *salads are cooling The nasal lining of the nose is lined with tiny blood capillaries, due to the dry air in the summer season the fragile lining breaks, and the nose bleeds. Dry heat creates this problem hence the house could be humidified with few green plants indoors. Nose is the openings of the lungs, we have to diagnose if there is excess of heat energy in the lungs. The child could be suffering from sinusitis, dry cough, burning in the nasal passage or fever. Lungs and large intestine have a see-saw balance. Problem of the nose could be also related to heated stomach and large intestine. Heated stomach which gives nose bleeding is due to constipation and the signs could be bad breath, dry mouth, swollen gums, extreme thirst and scanty urination. Nose bleeding with heated liver also gives headaches, red eyes and bitter taste in the mouth. Red and thickly coated yellowish tongue. Nose bleeding with heat in the kidney will have warm palms and soles such a person should drink more water. Girls could have nose bleeding in sync with their menstrual cycles in the summers. One of the reasons is the blood flowing in reverse direction. Boils in the nose are also a inflammation due to dry air that we breathe in. Sujok aims to clear the body of excess heat, hydrate the nasal lining and protect the tiny blood vessels in the nose to avoid nasal bleeding. The air in summer is dry. When we breathe this dehydrated air, could lead to nose bleeding

Abdul Bashid is a young boy of 9 years residing in the small city of Mahbubnagar in Telangana. He was leading a normal adolescent life until around two years back when he started complaining of severe headaches and blurring of vision. Initially, there was some alarming visual hallucination in the form of a dragon, tiger, elephant and other animals. The blurring episodes were infrequent, reccuring once in 15 days or a month. He would even get nauseous, but his vision would become normal soon. The parents started consulting doctors but the problem continued undiagnosed. It was around two months back that the episodes suddenly started intensifying. The poor child would wake up every day only to see a black background manifested with shades of white or white outlines. He was unable to detect any other color at all. This happened in both the eyes and covered the entire visual field, but his vision would inexplicably return to normal by evening. The panic-stricken and overwhelmed mother consulted many other doctors nearby but to no avail. The distressed child stopped going to school also. With no solution in sight, the family rushed to Hyderabad for advanced medical treatment. They consulted specialized doctors at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. All the prescribed scans like MRI, CT scan of brain, eyes, nose, etc. were done and the test reports returned normal. On paper, his vision was supposed to be normal. The varied doctors diagnosed it as everything from migraines and sinusitis to recurrent rhinitis to even a reaction to stress in school. They were bombarded with frightening terms like polyopia and achromatopsia. Abdul was prescribed various medications and psychiatric consultation was also advised. The family religiously followed every treatment and tried to find recourse in unani and ayurvedic treatment too. Alas, there was no change and the boy continued to suffer. It was providence that the mother came to know about sujok therapy and consulted SJT Alka Sodhani at Alka’s Healing Centre in Hyderabad. Abdul Bashid patiently endured the needles and sat with the magnets tied to his fingers. The parents’ undying faith and Alka’s skills paid off - All it took was FIVE sittings of sujok and acupuncture to get miraculous results! Tears of joy and relief stream down the mother, Arifa Fatima’s face as she exclaims, “MY BOY WOKE UP NORMAL TODAY!” The healing is permanent and the boy is actually able to read whenever he wants. He is finally at ease and looking forward to going back to school….. Truly, nothing is incurable with this drugless therapy!
